MÉDICOS DEL HOSPITAL GOYENECHE ATENDIERON 629 EMERGENCIAS DURANTE LA SEMANA SANTA

05 abril 2021.- Los médicos del servicio de emergencia del Hospital III Goyeneche, atendió 629 emergencias durante el feriado largo por Semana Santa, del 1 hasta el 4 de abril. La mayor demanda se apreció en el servicio de Medicina con 208 casos; Cirugía General, 166 pacientes; Ginecobstetricia, 141; emergencias pediátricas, 68 casos; Traumatología, 45, y en Shock Trauma, un paciente.

La mayoría presentaban problemas leves como dolor abdominal, policontusiones, cólicos y fiebre, aunque hubo otros de mayor riesgo, como amenazas de aborto, accidentes de tránsito, desmayos, apendicitis, infecciones graves, entre otros.

El jefe del Departamento de Emergencia, Dr. Ramiro Pérez Guzmán, informó que habitualmente este servicio atiende a 200 pacientes por día, por lo cual se satura esta área del nosocomio, el galeno pidió a la población que solo en caso de enfermedades graves acudan al Hospital Goyeneche, pero si presentan problemas de salud, como dolor abdominal leve, contusiones leves, o partos normales, deben ir a los centros de salud más cercanos con el fin de no saturar el servicio, y así evitar más contagios por el Covid-19.
