07 diciembre 2025.- 193 árbitros de fútbol del departamento de Arequipa fueron evaluados por la Comisión Nacional de Árbitros (Conar) y la Comisión Departamental de Árbitros de Arequipa (Codar) para su recategorización.

Esta mañana en la pista de atletismo del estadio Umacollo se realizaron las pruebas a las árbitras de Primera, Segunda y Tercera, además a un grupo de 40 aspirantes que, tras culminar el curso de arbitraje, quedaron aptos para debutar la próxima temporada.

Héctor Rojas, instructor de la Conar, indicó que el “nivel físico y técnico mostrado por los árbitros” lo deja gratamente sorprendido. Además, añadió que Arequipa es uno de los pocos departamentos a nivel nacional que cuenta con buena cantidad de árbitras.

“Estamos contentos y también sorprendidos porque en Arequipa hay muchas damas que están incursionando en el arbitraje, a diferencia de otros departamentos. Hay cerca de 30 muchachas entre árbitras y aspirantes, eso es bueno”, indicó César Escano, el otro instructor Conar que evaluó a los jueces mistianos.

Ambos instructores destacaron el biotipo que han encontrado en Arequipa, que debe ir acorde también con su capacitación constante y cuidado personal. Coincidieron en que sería bueno complementar su formación con asesoramiento psicológico, lo que se coordinará con la Liga Departamental de Fútbol de Arequipa.

Por su parte, Matilde Luque, presidenta de la Codar Arequipa, quedó satisfecha con el rendimiento de los jueces mistianos. “Tenemos muy buena convocatoria de árbitros también en provincias como Camaná, Caravelí, también en Caylloma; esperamos más apoyo de Islay. Esperamos que nuestros jueces tengan la posibilidad de también dirigir en Liga 1; creemos que están preparados”.

Dentro de unas semanas saldrán los resultados de la recategorización. Algunos árbitros ascenderán, otros mantendrán la categoría o descenderán.
