Arequipa 25 setiembre 2019.- Mano dura. Tras relevarse las pésimas condiciones de salubridad en las cuales se encontraban insumos y material médico del hospital Goyeneche, la Segunda Fiscalía Provincial Penal de Arequipa abrió una investigación preliminar durante 60 días por el presunto delito contra la salud pública y omisión de funciones contra lo que resulten responsables.

Así lo anunció el fiscal Herberth Rivera quien indicó que las primeras diligencias en el caso será la declaración del director Christhian Félix Nova Palomino, el lacrado de los ambientes inspeccionados, realizar un registro de los medicamentos vencidos y separar aquellos que aún puedan ser utilizados, entre otros.

INSPECCIÓN. Como se recuerda, el último martes en horas de la tarde la Fiscalía junto a Susalud inspeccionaron los almacenes del nosocomio encontrado decenas de lotes de medicinas vencidas, incluso se halló un catéter intravenoso Vygon vencido desde abril de 1984.

Esther De Amat Loza, fiscal provincial, detalló que los productos encontrados vencidos son: Dextrosa, Cloruro de Sodio, solución inyectable para infusión intravenosa vencido desde mayo de 2017, Captopril, Novophrarm vencido desde julio de 2017, jeringas desechables, gasa no esterilizada, algodón vencido desde agosto de 2003. Cabe resaltar que la visita de fiscalización fue solicitada por el director del hospital quien asumió el cargo en agosto de este año.
