Islay 12 julio 2019. La Municipalidad distrital de Islay, reconoce el gran esfuerzo y méritos obtenidos por las alumnas y alumnos de la I.E. 40479 Miguel Grau, quienes obtuvieron un merecido título de CAMPEONES a nivel provincial tanto en FÚTSAL damas como en ajedrez; de igual forma, representaron a la provincia de Islay en el campeonato a nivel regional, obteniendo grandes logros. Por su destacada participación, el alcalde, Sr. Fernando Zúñiga Chávez, y regidores municipales, prepararon para estos jóvenes dignos de admirar, un compartir como incentivo por su gran desempeño en la práctica de deportes, y por representar con mucho entusiasmo y orgullo a la Provincia de Islay, dando a conocer que en el distrito de Islay tenemos verdaderas promesas del deporte y otras disciplinas.
