15 julio 2021.- El presidente de la República, Francisco Sagasti, consideró que las elecciones generales de 2021 fueron “limpias” y que se llevaron a cabo sin que haya ocurrido un “fraude sistemático”, mientras que aseguró que está a la espera de la proclamación de los resultados oficiales por parte del Jurado Nacional de Elecciones (JNE).

Las elecciones fueron limpias Sí. En el resultado no hay ningún fraude. Un fraude sistemático a nivel grande No.

Lo que hay son pequeños errores materiales que hay en todo proceso electoral”, declaró esta mañana en una entrevista a Radio Santa Rosa.

El mandatario reiteró que se debe actuar con tranquilidad y que no se debe creer las cosas “como queremos que sean”, sino “como son”, en referencia a quienes denuncian que hubo un fraude en la segunda vuelta entre Pedro Castillo (Perú Libre) y Keiko Fujimori (Fuerza Popular).

“Hay un grupo de personas que creen, se han convencido, que hablan entre ellos mismos, entre todos y se han hecho una burbuja para quienes no hay nada más que explique que mi candidato pierda que tiene que haber fraude. Seamos un poco más tranquilos, más calmados. Tratemos de ver las cosas como son y no como queremos que sean”, acotó.
