11 junio 2021.- El Pleno del Jurado Nacional de Elecciones (JNE) dio marcha atrás y tras un pedido de reconsideración del presidente de dicho órgano Jorge Salas Arenas.

11 junio 2021.- El Pleno del Jurado Nacional de Elecciones (JNE) dio marcha atrás y tras un pedido de reconsideración del presidente de dicho órgano Jorge Salas Arenas y dejó sin efecto el acuerdo tomado tan solo horas antes para ampliar el plazo a fin de recibir los recursos de nulidad de mesas de sufragio, tanto del partido político Fuerza Popular (FP) como de Perú Libre, confirmaron .

La decisión se tomó por mayoría con los tres votos de los magistrados Jorge Salas Arenas, Jorge Rodríguez Vélez y Jovian Sanjinez Salazar contra el voto en minoría del magistrado Luis Arce Córdova.

Fuentes del JNE explicaron que el reexamen de la decisión inicial y posterior reconsideración se hizo al amparo de la resolución Nro. 5448-2011/AA del Tribunal Constitucional.

“Esto quiere decir que el miércoles fue el último día de recepción de acuerdo a la resolución 86-2018. Cualquier solicitud después de ello será considerada extemporánea”, indicaron.
