26 mayo 2020.- La cifra de contagios en la región Arequipa continúa subiendo día a día. Esta vez el Comando COVID informó que en las últimas 24 horas dieron positivo a coronavirus 93 personas, sumando un total de 2 mil 787.

Hasta ayer 25 de mayo, la cifra de contagios se encontraba en 2 mil 694, y se dio un pico de fallecidos de 5 pérdidas humanas en 24 horas. Esta vez no se presentó ningún fallecido, manteniéndose la cifra de muertos por COVID-19 en la región Arequipa en 51.

Ya se han realizado hasta hoy 47 mil 43 pruebas rápidas y moleculares. Hoy se registró la mayor cantidad de pruebas en un solo día, con 3 mil 558. De todas las muestras realizadas a la población, 44 mil 230 han dado negativo hasta hoy.

Hay pacientes que se encuentran con condición médica grave, por lo que son internados en nosocomios. Es el caso de los 136 pacientes hospitalizados, 31 en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI).

Por lo pronto hoy se dieron de alta a 64 pacientes con coronavirus, sumando ya un total de 1 025. Esta es la situación a momento:
