Arequipa 16 abril 2020.- Este jueves por la noche, la Gerencia Regional de Salud emitió las cifras actualizadas de contagios por coronavirus en Arequipa. El número asciende a 202.

En comparación con la cantidad de contagios hasta ayer, que eran 198, solo aumentaron 4 nuevos casos este 16 de abril.

Hasta el momento se han realizado 4 mil 410 de muestras, de las cuales 1 mil 197 son moleculares, y 3 mil 213 pruebas rápidas. De las muestras que dieron positivo a coronavirus, 102 fueron con pruebas moleculares, y 100 muestras se procesaron con pruebas rápidas.

Una noticia que genera optimismo es que el número de pacientes recuperados hasta el momento es 33. La cifra de fallecidos se mantiene en 7, sin reportarse alguna otra pérdida humana en las últimas 24 horas.

Hasta hoy se han registrado 4 mil 106 muestras negativas a coronavirus. Las autoridades sanitarias de Arequipa están a la espera de los resultados de 102 muestras.
