01 enero 2025.- El Ministerio de la Producción estableció límites de captura para 9 especies clave para el crecimiento del sector pesquero y asegurando la sostenibilidad de nuestros recursos hidrobiológicos. Estas medidas benefician con empleos directos e indirectos a unas 80 mil personas y garantizan la alimentación de millones de familias.

Especies destacadas:

Bonito: 38,307 toneladas entre enero y abril para la pesca artesanal. Prioridad de pesca exclusiva en dos periodos de 15 días cada uno para las embarcaciones menores de 10 m³ y pesca artesanal pasiva.

Jurel y caballa: 41,275 y 22,659 toneladas respectivamente para pesca artesanal.

Anchoveta: 75,000 toneladas destinadas al consumo humano directo entre enero y julio.

Otras cuotas claras para pulpo, bacalao, anguila, tiburón martillo y mantarrayas, consolidan la sostenibilidad pesquera y exportaciones de alta calidad.

“La anticipación de estas resoluciones demuestra nuestro compromiso con una gestión transparente y basada en evidencia científica”, afirmó el viceministro Jesús Barrientos. Perú avanza hacia una pesca sostenible, equitativa e inclusiva, reafirmando su liderazgo regional en la adopción de medidas de ordenamiento oportunas que permiten una extracción sostenible y se dinamice la economía de los pescadores.
