GRANDES PROYECTOS PARA EL CONO SUR - AREQUIPA

Arequipa 29 agosto 2024.- Grandes proyectos para el Cono Sur de la ciudad de Arequipa se encaminan desde el Gobierno Regional. En coordinación con la Mancomunidad Sur Oriental, se avanza en las gestiones para la construcción de la represa Toma Grande, en Mollebaya; y el hospital del Cono Sur, en Yarabamba.

El gobernador regional de Arequipa, Dr. Rohel Sánchez Sánchez, se  reunió con los alcaldes distritales de Mollebaya, Tito Zegarra Lajo; Quequeña, Luis Núñez Saldívar; Chiguata, Gladys Ticona Flores; Polobaya, Wenceslao Cabana Vilca; y Characato, Ángel Linares Portilla. Se informó sobre el estado del expediente técnico de la represa, para el cual se viene culminando los diferentes estudios para determinar su viabilidad. Abastecerá a los distritos de Mollebaya, Characato y la parte alta de Socabaya.

En cuanto al hospital, se agiliza el cambio de uso e independización del terreno para que se pueda iniciar con las gestiones para el proyecto; también se coordina la compensación de estos espacios que serán utilizados para el nosocomio en Yarabamba, por terrenos en el distrito de Mollebaya.
