Arequipa 30 diciembre 2019.- Las labores académicas y la clausura del año escolar en algunos colegios del valle de Tambo en la provincia de Islay será este viernes 5 de enero, así lo confirmó esta mañana la gerenta regional de Educación en Arequipa, Margarita Monzón.

Los estudiantes de los distritos de Cocachacra, Punta de Bombón, Deán Valdivia, Mejía perdieron cerca de un mes de labores académicas a causa del paro de los opositores al proyecto minero Tía María, por lo que se reprogramó el dictado de labores hasta el 8 de diciembre, posteriormente, la misma gerente manifestó que se ampliaría hasta el 15 de enero. Sin embargo, esta mañana aseveró que la asistencia y clausura del año escolar será este viernes.

Aseguró que los alumnos cumplieron con las horas lectivas que se requieren y anticiparon el cierre del año académico porque hicieron horas extras y avanzaron los fines de semana y en feriados.

Los escolares de los otros distritos como Mollendo, Islay terminaron las labores el 20 de diciembre pasado.
