Mollendo 07 agosto 2024.- La unidad Técnica de Menores de la Federación Peruana de fútbol que es dirigida por Guillermo Chemo del Solar continuando con el plan de trabajo ha programado el torneo de selecciones interregionales y macro regionales la misma que de se desarrollará en la ciudad de Ica entre los días 07, 08 y 09 de agosto. Ante ello el Centro de Captación y Desarrollo Región Arequipa ha seleccionado a 15 jugadores de Arequipa, Camaná y Mollendo.

Los cinco convocados por la Provincia de Islay son: Alesandro Zúñiga, Byron Martínez, Luis Mogrovejo, Thiago Balladares del Elías Aguirre AFIM Mollendo y Julio Zevallos del FBC Melgar.

De cada región van a seleccionar entre 4 ó 5 jugadores, quienes vuelven en septiembre para realizar trabajos individuales y de potencia, esto será en la videnita de Ica.
