El Alcalde de la Municipalidad Distrital de Islay, Sr. Fernando Zúñiga Chávez, hizo la entrega oficial de dicha obra a los vecinos de las Asociaciones Mar Azul, Avis Las Palmeras y Avis Las Praderas; acto que contó con la presencia de las autoridades del Distrito y en especial los representantes del sector y público en general.
Dentro del programa establecido y en representación de los vecinos el Sr. Nicolás Prieto Medina, Presidente de la Asociación Mar Azul, La Sra. Gladis Bari Ramos, Presidenta de la Avis Las Praderas, manifestaron su agradecimiento al alcalde distrital por haber hecho realidad esta obra, la cual mejora los servicios básicos como es el acceso a desagüe, así mismo solicito que la municipalidad siga haciendo obras en beneficio de la población.
Al hacer uso de la palabra, el alcalde manifestó que “Esta obra ha sido muy anhelada por los vecinos de Mar Azul, Avis Las Praderas y Avis Las Palmeras, quienes podrán beneficiarse de los disminución de enfermedades gastrointestinales, parasitarias y dérmicas de toda la población de la urbanización a causa de la falta de servicio para sus necesidades básicas, mejorando así la calidad de vida de las mismas, además se disminuya los vectores de contaminación del agua y suelos.
Agradeció también al personal que laboro en esta obra y en especial a los pobladores del sector quienes apoyaron durante el proceso y reitero sus compromiso de seguir trabajando para que nuestro distrito de Islay siga creciendo, y llegue a ser lo que siempre se ha anhelado, un distrito con servicios básicos para todos.
El brindis de honor estuvo a cargo del Presidente de la Asociación de Mar Azul, Sr. Nicolás Prieto Medina, quien expreso sus palabras de agradecimiento y se procedió al brindis.
