NOMBRAN NUEVO COMANDANTE DEL EJÉRCITO EN AREQUIPA

Arequipa 25 noviembre 2019.- El general de división EP. Carlos Martín Mayca Vásquez fue nombrado nuevo comandante general de la III División del Ejército Arequipa en reemplazo del general EP Alberto Vizcarra Álvarez.

Este último se hará cargo del Comando Logístico del Ejercito. Ambos generales asumen funciones el 1 de diciembre de este año.

En enero, Mayca Vásquezjuró como Comandante del Comando Operacional Centro (COC), haciéndose cargo de la II División del EP., donde se preocupó por facilitar al personal a su cargo el bautismo y comunión, el culto al deporte y las acciones de servicio social.

En el 2016 estuvo a cargo de la V División y desarrolló varias gestiones en la zona de frontera entre Colombia y Brasil.
