Arequipa 15 noviembre 2019.- La empresa Southern Peru Copper Corporation tiene hasta el 18 de noviembre para devolver las 49 hectáreas de servidumbre en Pampas Cachendo que le fueron anuladas por el Gobierno Regional de Arequipa (GRA), mediante la Resolución N°375, informó el jefe de Asesoría Jurídica, Walter Paz Valderrama.

De no hacerlo, precisó que acudirá a las acciones coactivas que contempla un desalojo de ser necesario. Señaló además, que la empresa aún no recoge la devolución de S/500 mil que dio por el terreno.

Como se recuerda el Gobierno Regional de Arequipa (GRA) dio diez días a la empresa minera para devolver este predio que en el 2018 mediante resolución le fue cedido por la gestión de la ex gobernadora, Yamila Osorio, pero la actual gestión la anuló.

Esta devolución fue solicitada con mayor fuerza, luego de que el Consejo Nacional de Minería ratificará la licencia de construcción al proyecto Tía María de Southern Peru Copper Corporation, el pasado 30 de octubre.
